We are supported by a board of committed and conscientious Trustees who volunteer their time and expertise to ensure that Marshfield Odsal Bankfoot Enterprise (MOBE) works with and within Bradford’s communities to create opportunities and support people to build skills, gain confidence and share perspectives.
Leon Oakley, Chairman of MOBE says: ‘The MOBE board is delighted to help drive forward this long overdue project on the history of the Caribbean sound system culture in Bradford.
‘This represents a real opportunity for the African-Caribbean descent community of Bradford to showcase the massive contribution its culture has made to Bradford and still does in the world through its unique music styles, social recreation, fashion wear and other creative industries.’
Mr Oakley adds: ‘We are very pleased that our project will also help and support Bradford’s bid for UK City of Culture 2025.’
