The Rites of Passage project is dedicated to making Bradford’s Caribbean heritage and history better understood, more appreciated and more accessible to all. It is part of a wider vision to create an inclusive history about Bradford.

Rites of Passage: Bradford’s Sound System Stories focuses upon one distinctive part of the city’s Caribbean musical heritage and cultural legacy. It contributes to on-going work across the city to ensure that the diverse heritage and histories of Caribbean experience are integral and dynamic components of Bradford’s identity for present and future generations.
