Volunteers

Our volunteers have been at the centre of Rites of Passage. We have relied upon their help and enthusiasm. They’ve brought commitment and shared their skills, learned new ones and their contributions have driven this project. Some volunteers are pioneers of Bradford’s sound system era. Others are young enough to be their grandchildren.

Sadly, most of our volunteer opportunities have now ended. However, we are still inviting contributions to the Rites of Passage Project – if you have comments, photos, memories, memorabilia, or would just like to say ‘hello’, please follow this link.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped to make this project a reality.

See some of the things our volunteers got up to in the image galleries below.
