We hosted an hour-long session on Zoom that brought together people from the local area in a discussion about sound systems and dance hall culture.
Former members of Bradford’s sound systems took part and they were joined by other people with memories of the era and interested newcomers to the city.
People shared memories and highlighted their hopes for the future – in particular, their desire for sound systems to be more broadly recognised as part of Bradford’s rich cultural history.
